Mechanical Design Engineer - Proper Engineering
Lets be honest.
Some design engineer jobs are just moving lines around in CAD.
This isnt one of them.
An established engineering manufacturer is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a small, sharp design team building complex industrial equipment used globally.
Youll be working at the intersection of mechanical, electrical and systems engineering turning customer requirements into machines that actually get built.
What the job really involves
Designing mechanical assemblies and sheet metal structures in SolidWorks
Packaging electrical and mechanical systems into real, manufacturable machines
Solving the problems that appear between concept, prototype and production
Producing drawings, BOMs and design documentation that manufacturing can actually use
Working directly with engineers, suppliers and production to get things built properly
Youll probably fit if you
Can design confidently in SolidWorks
Understand sheet metal or welded fabrication
Have worked around machinery, equipment or industrial systems
Prefer solving engineering problems rather than just modelling parts
If you like practical engineering, real machines and seeing your designs built, this is worth a conversation.
