Currently, our School of Computing, Engineering & Built Environment are undertaking a British Council‑funded collaborative research project to identify the digital skills gap in architecture education in Nepal.
As such we are recruiting a Research Project Assistant to assist with producing high‑quality written outputs and preparing formal reports for the British Council, to ensure full compliance with grant requirements and reporting deadlines.
The Role
As Research Project Assistant, you will have the opportunity to use your strong organisational and time‑management skills to provide comprehensive administrative and coordination support to the project.
You will be in an excellent position to use your experience to play a key role in maintaining project documentation and ensuring compliance with funder and university requirements.
Your written and verbal communication skills and experience of minute taking will also be put to good use, as you organise meetings, prepare agendas, take accurate notes, and track agreed actions while supporting the preparation of project progress and final reports for the funder.

What we will need from you
* Masters Degree in a discipline relevant to working in the Built Environment
* Strong organisational and time‑management skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to take clear and accurate meeting notes
* Experience working in an academic, research, or project‑based environment

Additional information
Salary: £31,236 per annum (pro rata and depending on experience)
Hours: 2.5 hours per week
Contract: Fixed‑Term until 31 Aug 2027
