We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate teacher to join our vibrant and inclusive special school. Our pupils have diverse needs, including severe, profound, and multiple learning difficulties (SLD/PMLD) and autism spectrum conditions (ASC). Henry Tyndale School is a multi-campus, 'Outstanding' special school in Farnborough, Hampshire, catering to children and young people aged 2 -19 with severe, profound, and complex learning difficulties, including ASD, SLD, and PMLD. The Role:
· As a teacher, you will:
· Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCP outcomes.
· Work collaboratively with therapists, support staff, and families to enhance pupil learning.
· Foster an inclusive, safe, and nurturing learning environment.
· Assess and track pupil progress, celebrating small steps of achievement.
· Implement communication strategies such as PECS, Makaton, or AAC devices.
· Adapt creative teaching methods to engage pupils with complex needs.
About You:

· A real commitment to working with our young people with severe and complex needs, collaborating with staff, parents, and professionals.
· Flexibility, creativity, enthusiasm, and energy to adapt and engage all learners.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering positive relationships across the school community.
· The ability to work independently while also being a motivator and inspirational leader for the class team.
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it (ECTs welcome).
· Experience working with children with SEND (preferred but not essential – training provided).
