Citrus Recruit are excited to be recruiting for a Compliance Manager working within the Transportation and Haulage industry.
As a Compliance Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our operations remain fully compliant with industry regulations, legal requirements, and internal standards. Working closely with the Head of Compliance and H&S Manager, you will be at the forefront of maintaining high standards across Health & Safety, transport, and regulatory compliance, while supporting and guiding colleagues to embed a culture of best practice across the business.

Responsibilities & day to day duties
As a Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for:
* Work closely with the Head of Compliance and H&S Manager to maintain compliance across the business.
* Assist with Health & Safety documentation and driver inductions.
* Conduct Toolbox Talks and ensure drivers complete necessary training.
* Carry out vehicle gate checks (safety, security, condition, and defect checks).
* Complete driver induction paperwork, including licence checks and starter packs.
* Monitor and report on compliance risks, escalating issues where necessary.
* Ensure driver EU and Working Time infringements are monitored, managed, and supported with training.
* Oversee company van usage and tachograph analysis (RHA).
* Investigate irregularities and non-compliance issues, ensuring corrective actions are taken.
* Maintain accurate records and provide reports to senior management.
* Support Transport Managers with information and compliance updates.
Skills & experience required
* Previous experience in a compliance role within transport, logistics, or a related industry.
* Strong knowledge of Health & Safety, transport legislation, and driver compliance.
* Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
* Confident communicator, able to deliver training and engage with staff at all levels.
* Proactive problem-solver with the ability to investigate and resolve issues.
* Good IT skills with experience maintaining compliance records and reports.
