The Vacancy
RSK is seeking a Supply Chain Compliance Manager to join our central procurement team. This is a full-time (40 hours per week) permanent role, with flexible and hybrid working arrangements, and an expectation of regular travel to our Helsby Office in Cheshire.
This new role will be instrumental in developing and implementing a supply chain compliance programme, ensuring alignment with CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive), DMA (Double Materiality Assessments), supplier approval processes, and RSK’s Second Nature Sustainability objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Global Supply Chain Compliance & Risk Programme
* Develop and oversee a supplier compliance framework covering CSRD, DMA, supplier approval, and ethical procurement.
* Ensure global compliance while working with regional teams to incorporate local regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
1. Sustainable Procurement & ESG Strategy
* Develop and track sustainable procurement KPIs, ensuring continuous improvement in supplier sustainability performance.
* Support the development of a strategy to reduce Scope 3 emissions, aligning with RSK’s sustainability and decarbonisation goals.
2. Supply Chain Audits & Assurance
* Develop and manage a supplier audit programme, ensuring high-risk suppliers are regularly reviewed for compliance.
* Ensure robust supplier ESG reporting, particularly around Scope 1, 2, & 3 emissions, ethical sourcing, and social responsibility.
3. Stakeholder Engagement & Process Optimisation
* Act as a subject matter expert in supply chain compliance and sustainability, advising internal teams and suppliers on best practices. Assist in bid preparation where required.
* Collaborate closely with Procurement teams, Category Managers, Supplier Relationship Managers, and business units to integrate compliance into procurement decisions.
Person Specification:
* Extensive experience in supply chain compliance, sustainable procurement, and ESG risk management within a global or multi-regional environment.
* Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as CSRD, DMA, ISO standards, and Ecovadis, as well as industry-specific compliance requirements.
* Proven ability to design and implement supplier risk management frameworks, including data-driven audit and assurance processes.
* Experience leading cultural change within procurement or supply chain functions, driving engagement and adoption of compliance programmes.
* Proficiency in procurement systems and platforms, with an understanding of their role in supporting supplier compliance and risk management.
