We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and fast-paced business based in Billingham who is looking for a Payroll Administrator to join their busy payroll team on a temporary basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration skills and high attention to detail who enjoys working in a fast-moving office environment. The role is initially expected to last around 3 months, with the potential for extension depending on business needs.
The successful candidate will support the payroll department with a variety of administrative tasks, ensuring employee information and timesheets are processed accurately and efficiently across multiple branches.
Key Responsibilities:
· Accurately inputting employee timesheets onto internal systems
· Processing new starter information and maintaining employee records
· Handling payroll-related queries from internal teams
· Liaising with multiple branches regarding timesheets and payroll information
· Providing general administrative support to the payroll department
· Ensuring all information is processed with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
· Previous administration experience, ideally within payroll or a fast-paced office environment
· Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
· Strong communication skills and confidence liaising with different departments
· The ability to manage workloads effectively and work to deadlines
· A proactive and reliable approach to work
· Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
Additional Information:
· Temporary role – initially approximately 3 months
· Potential for the role to be extended
· Based in Billingham – fully office based
· Pay rate: £12.71 per hour
Working Hours:
Monday & Tuesday: 9:00am – 8:00pm
Wednesday & Thursday: 9:00am – 5:30pm
Friday: Off (may alternate with Thursday off on following weeks)
