About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Residential Property Secretary to join our team in Frome. This full-time role involves supporting residential property transactions, liaising with clients and legal professionals, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide secretarial and administrative support for residential property transactions from instruction to completion.
* Prepare, review, and manage legal documents and correspondence.
* Liaise with solicitors, estate agents, clients, and other stakeholders.
* Conduct title checks, property searches, and due diligence.
* Maintain accurate records and case files in line with regulatory requirements.
* Manage diaries, schedule appointments, and handle client communications.
* Keep up to date with changes in property law and conveyancing practices.
Requirements
* Experience in residential property transactions or a legal support role.
* Strong understanding of conveyancing processes and legal documentation.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable
* Experience working in a law firm, estate agency, or property management company.
* Familiarity with Land Registry and HMRC systems.
