360 Excavator Operator (CPCS/NPORS)
Location: Isle of Dogs, London Pay Rate: £21 per hour Job Type: Full-time / Contract
Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable 360 Excavator Operator to join a busy construction site based in the Isle of Dogs. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled operator to work on a well-established project with consistent hours and competitive pay.
Key Responsibilities
Operate a 360 excavator safely and efficiently on-site
Carry out tasks such as trenching, grading, digging, and backfilling
Work alongside groundworkers and site supervisors to meet project deadlines
Perform daily checks and basic maintenance of the machine
Ensure all work is completed in line with site drawings and specifications
Adhere strictly to health & safety regulations at all times
Report any faults, hazards, or issues to site management promptly
Requirements
Valid CPCS or NPORS ticket for 360 Excavator (above and/or below 10 tonnes)
Previous experience operating 360 machinery on construction sites
Strong understanding of site safety and procedures
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills
Full PPE (hard hat, hi-vis, safety boots)
Desirable
Experience working on residential or commercial developments
Confined spaces or lifting ops certification (advantageous but not essential)
Own transport (preferred but not essential depending on location access)
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
8-10 hours per day (potential for overtime and weekend work)
