ROLE: Trails Engineer

We’re looking for a [job title] who will support trial operations, deliver exceptional client service, and ensure safe, efficient setup, optimisation, and close‑down of equipment on customer sites.
Role Responsibilities
* Be sales and client focused, always identifying opportunities to provide solutions from the full company and group portfolio—not limited to industrial or chemical sales.
* Conduct pre‑trial site audits including access, lifting/positioning, utilities, drainage, pipework, pumps, and mapping system flows.
* Prepare a full Trial Plan Pack including RAMS, layout sketches, process flow, IO lists, utilities, hose/adapter lists, and spill plans.
* Lead equipment setup and commissioning, overseeing delivery, positioning, hook‑up, instrument calibration, sampling, and controlled startup.
* Operate and optimise trial equipment by adjusting speeds, dosing, and levels to achieve target throughput and dryness, including detailed logging and troubleshooting.
* Manage full clean‑down, flushing, documentation, engineering request forms, and readiness preparations for the next deployment, ensuring the site is left safe and compliant.
Required Qualifications
Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.
* Experience in site‑based operations, trials, or process‑driven engineering environments.
* Strong understanding of process flows, dosing systems, pumps, and mechanical equipment.
* Ability to produce detailed reports, documentation, and compliance‑related records.
