The role is to Lead the BIM/CAD team, ensuring drawing/model quality, compliance, and standards. Train teams, manage documentation, and serve as the main BIM/CAD contact.
Location is North East Midlands/South Yorks
Will consider further afield for the right candidate as long as they are happy to travel to the office day p/w minimum
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enforce BIM processes, standards, and compliance (, ISO, IFC, COBie).
- Manage BIM documentation (BEPs, MPDTs), training, and technical support.
- Oversee BIM budgets, software, and hardware resources.
- Conduct audits, ensure data accuracy, and implement best practices.
- Coordinate BIM activities, clash detection, and quality assurance.
Person Specification:
Essential:
- BIM Manager experience with strong knowledge of ISO .
- Expertise in BIM workflows, model auditing, and execution plans.
- Experience in Fire, Security, or Data infrastructure industries.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and IT skills.
- Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD) and data exchange formats.
Desirable:
- BIM certification or formal qualification.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
Salary - Up to £k DOE
