About the Role:
The purpose of this role is to support home oxygen and long-term condition services for patients in the community on behalf of the NHS. The Job Holder will assist the regional team of technicians by ensuring the delivery of a high-quality service through stringent cleaning, verification, and repair of healthcare equipment. Key responsibilities include the planned servicing and repair of all equipment associated with the company’s delivery of the Home Oxygen Service (HOS), ensuring all work is completed in line with manufacturer and company policy guidelines. The Job Holder is expected to communicate effectively with line managers and colleagues, maintaining transparency at all times. A "can do" culture is encouraged within the team, while always working within the constraints of safety standards and company policies.
What You Will Be Doing:
1. Verifying, cleaning and where required, repairing the equipment
2. Recording serial numbers of equipment received from Healthcare Technicians and placing the equipment into the correct ‘holding’ area.
3. PAT testing and Soak testing the equipment
4. Recording accurately all work carried out
5. Recording serial numbers ready for dispatch to Healthcare Technicians
6. Occasional need to off-load delivery vehicles on site -goods receipt any other stock as required
7. Work as part of a team to produce work of a high quality
8. Ensure daily productivity targets are met, enhancing service user quality and safety at all times
9. Work with various devices and the ability to swap between different items during the working day
10. Follow manufacturer guidelines to ensure full compliance of medical devices
About You:
11. Full Driving licence
12. Good technical skills
13. Ability to diagnose and rectify faults
14. Willing to work on own or within a team environment
15. A good level of soft skills
16. Ability to work on own initiative with good time management skills
