Teaching Assistants & Teachers – SEN Schools (Oxford) Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with special educational needs? Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a number of SEN schools across Oxford, who are seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants and qualified Teachers to join their teams. These schools support pupils aged 4–19 with a wide range of needs, including: Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) ADHD Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD) Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) The Roles Teaching Assistants As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will: Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs Support the class teacher with engaging, differentiated lessons Use behaviour management and de-escalation strategies where required Help pupils access the curriculum and develop social and life skills Support pupils with personal care where appropriate (training provided) Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, therapists, and other professionals Teachers As an SEN Teacher, you will: Plan and deliver creative, inclusive lessons tailored to individual needs Adapt teaching approaches to support pupils with complex learning needs Manage classroom behaviour using positive behaviour strategies Monitor progress and contribute to EHCPs and reviews Work collaborativ...
