Tester/Business Analyst
City of London
Contract
Up to £380 per day
cer Financial are working alongside an international bank based in the City of London. They are looking for a Tester/Business Analyst to work with them on a contract basis.
The responsibilities of a Tester/Business Analyst will include:
1. Workbook for Module Integration, outlining areas impacted by the EC implementation and necessary actions
2. Workbook for Role Based Permissions, detailing all existing permissions and those to be built and tested under the Programme in SuccessFactors and Qualtrics
3. Specifications for inter-platform interfaces (eg: EC-LMS), Reports and Dashboards identified for migration to the EC-enabled platform
4. In conjunction with the BAU HR Tech Team – updates to Config Workbooks for existing SF Platform (including Notifications) and modules Learning, PMGM and Compensation
5. Facilitating and documenting design and requirements outputs as required, eg:
6. Operating Model design including:
7. Workflow impacts, Event Notifications and integrations – Review how Employee Central impacts other SF modules they have (LMS, PMGM, Recruitment, Comp) and impacts on the flow of work in HR.
8. Employee experience principles – Used the developed employee experience principles to guide the process and technology design during the design phase.
9. Key design decisions
10. Facilitate discussion and document outcomes regarding the functional requirements for the integration of existing modules and the Role Based Permissions
11. Develop a position paper for any Key Design Decisions if required by the PM. Each position paper will outline the problem statement, decision options, dependencies, benefits and costs, impacts and recommended options.
12. Business Requirements
13. Proactively communicate and collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to analyse information needs and functional requirements and deliver the Functional and Non-Functional requirements through well written business requirements documents for those areas of responsibility.
14. Consider the data and determine what the business needs to retain and use
15. Work with Programme Test Team to build test plan for existing modules, reports and role-based permissions
16. Create user stories and write test scripts based on the test plan
17. Execute testing, record results and evidence and defects and work with SI Partner, ITSD & JRIA and Project teams to resolve
18. Proactively identify risks and issues and record them on the RAID log and raise with PM.
The successful Tester/Business Analyst will have:
19. Educated to degree level (desirable)
20. Experience on an Employee Central implementation project in a BA or similar capacity
21. Experience of SF Platform, Report Centre and Role Based Permissions (essential)
22. Certified (admin certification) in relevant SF module/s eg: EC, Learning, PMGM, Compensation (desirable)
23. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into functional and non-functional requirements
24. Experience in HR processes and business analysis with SAP SuccessFactors catalogue of products (essential).
25. Experience of participating in deadline driven and/or systems project teams.
26. Must be able to take own initiative but also willing to support and take direction when working with a Project or Programme Manager
27. Must be able to demonstrate flexibility to move between “big picture” thinking and handling detailed tactical information.
28. Able to work collaboratively in teams, ask good questions to rapidly understand complex systems and processes, analyse data and make recommendations based on evidence from the data.
