About the Role
We’re seeking a proactive and technically skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join an IT Services and Consultancy team. You’ll play a key role in maintaining system health, resolving technical issues, and supporting infrastructure deployments. This is a dynamic position ideal for someone passionate about automation, cloud technologies, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Prioritise and resolve support requests from users.
* Manage IT assets and support onboarding/offboarding processes.
* Monitor system health and optimise performance.
* Deploy updates, fixes, and conduct root cause analysis.
* Automate tasks including reporting and visualisation.
* Support new and existing IT deployments and integrations.
* Provide second-line technical support and build tools to enhance user experience.
* Collaborate with teams for documentation and requirements gathering.
* Promote a problem-solving mindset and team-oriented approach.

Technical Skills
Essential:
* Linux SysAdmin (RHCSA)
* Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
* Scripting (Python or Bash)
* Cloud networking (VPCs, VPNs, DNS)
* Containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
Desirable:
* Basic database administration (MySQL, MSSQL, Postgres, etc.)
* AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFormation)
* CI/CD tools (Ansible, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
