Overview
Applications are invited for a Researcher of Digital Health to work within the Applied Digital Health team under Professor John Powell and Dr Abi Eccles, conducting research examining AI Scribe use in General Practice settings.
Responsibilities
* Conduct qualitative data collection, including observations in general practices and interviews with research participants
* Perform both quantitative and qualitative analysis of research data
* Contribute to a literature review and survey design
* Support the organization of working groups with members of the public, general practitioners, and other stakeholders
* Participate in other digital health projects and teaching within the group
Qualifications
* Experience of qualitative and quantitative research, ideally in digital health or a related area of applied health services research
* Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills
* Hold a DPhil or PhD (or be near completion/hold equivalent experience) in health services research, epidemiology, health psychology, or a related social science discipline / subject relevant to applied digital health
Work Arrangement
Based in the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, Woodstock Road, Oxford (OX2 6GG). A pattern of regular remote working will be agreed with the line manager.
Funding
The position is funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research until 31 May 2028.
Salary
£39,424 to £43,984 per annum (Grade 7).
