Adi Lean Manufacturing and Design CNC Programmer Setter
Location – Tyburn, Birmingham
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist / Programmer to run CNC machines and develop CAM programs to produce high-quality, precision components. The role involves machine setup, programming, and inspection within a busy machine shop environment.
Specifically, your key responsibilities will include:
* Create, develop, and prove CNC programs to produce consistently accurate parts
* Set up and operate CNC machines for production runs, including manned and unmanned operation
* Work from customer drawings and specifications, maintaining tight tolerances
* Carry out routine machine maintenance checks and complete required records
* Report tooling requirements and suggest tooling or process improvements
* Collaborate with engineering, design, and production teams, providing input for SOPs
About you
We would like to hear from you if you have:
* Experience in CNC machining and CAM programming – Preferably Hurco and Edgecam.
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
* Experience collaborating with engineering teams
* Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy
* Proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement
