Vehicle Build Technician
We are seeking skilled and motivated Vehicle Build Technicians to join our growing production team. This role is ideal for individuals with hands-on experience building, assembling, or modifying vehicles — whether from a mechanical or electrical background.

The Role
You will be involved in the assembly and installation of mechanical and/or electrical components into specialist vehicles. Working as part of a production team, you'll help deliver high-quality builds to customer specifications.
Key duties include:
* Mechanical assembly of vehicle components and systems
* Installation and routing of electrical wiring looms
* Fitting parts such as suspension components, braking systems, interior fittings, panels, and accessories
* Installing electrical systems including lighting, control units, batteries, and auxiliary equipment
* Using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
* Reading and working from technical drawings and build instructions
* Conducting quality checks to ensure high standards are maintained
* Supporting testing and fault-finding where required
What We're Looking For
We welcome candidates from a range of backgrounds, including:
* Vehicle builders or body builders
* Auto electricians
* Mechanical fitters
* Plant or HGV technicians
* Motorsport technicians
* Service engineers with hands-on assembly experience
Essential Skills
* Experience building or modifying vehicles (mechanical and/or electrical)
* Confident using hand tools and workshop equipment
* Good understanding of mechanical systems or vehicle electrics
* Ability to follow technical drawings or instructions
* Strong attention to detail
* A practical, hands-on approach
Desirable (but not essential)
* NVQ or apprenticeship in mechanical, automotive, or electrical engineering
* Experience with 12V / 24V vehicle electrical systems
* Fabrication or light welding experience
* Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment
