As a Service Advisor, you will be the main point of contact for customers, managing vehicle service bookings, providing technical explanations, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Duties and Responsibilities:
8. Serving as the primary contact for customers bringing vehicles in for servicing and repairs
9. Managing workshop appointments and organising jobs efficiently
10. Handling invoicing, quoting, warranty claims, and parts ordering
11. Using a Garage Management System and OneLink systems for job sheets and workshop administration
12. Communicating effectively with technicians to ensure timeliness and quality of work
13. Providing customers with clear explanations of the work needed, in both technical and layman terms
14. Assisting in workshop organisation and stepping into supervisory or managerial responsibilities when appropriate
Requirements:
15. Proven experience as a Service Advisor or similar role within the motor trade
16. Good technical understanding of vehicles, with the ability to explain repairs clearly
17. Familiarity with OneLink software is advantageous or Garage Assistant 4
18. Full UK driving licence is essential for occasional vehicle movements
19. Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a proactive work ethic
20. Ability to thrive in a busy, customer-focused environment
21. Reliable team player with a professional manner and a desire to progress into management
