: Leonardo is looking for a Chief Software Engineer for our Integrated Mission Solutions (IMS) sector. You will join a growing business providing senior technical governance across our wide range of EW support solutions in a collaborative, Agile environment. Taking a leading role in supporting projects and the function to deliver mission development and analysis software to support complex airborne solutions, assisting the teams to improve through a combination of coaching, tooling, process and other identified improvements. You will hold design authority and be responsible for ensuring the quality of delivered solutions whilst collaborating across functions and sites to ensure Leonardo remains at the forefront of complex software development. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR People with a passion for delivering software in an Agile multi-disciplined environment. Striving to improve and lead the implementation of delivery solutions across a wide variety of solutions across a variety of platforms. You should have a degree level qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline and a desire to learn and share knowledge with others. In addition you will be expected to have some of the following: Have demonstrable experience in delivering software projects in a desktop/server based environment Be able to support teams to adhere to processes and develop improvements to the process/approach Be able to engage with key stakeholders both within and external to the software teams Be able to lead approaches around effective requirements management and flow through of the complete software lifecycle Support the identification and rollout of software tooling Review and contribute to project documentation Coaching and Mentoring Advise and support development of software architectures WHAT YOU'LL GET Software Engineering: Apply and further develop your knowledge of software engineering.
