Job Description:JT Recruit is seeking a dedicated General Warehouse Operative with FLT (Forklift Truck) skills to join our team in Newark. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to secure a permanent position after a successful 12-week temporary period.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operating forklift trucks to move and organise stock within the warehouse.
* Loading and unloading deliveries.
* Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean and organised.
* Assisting with inventory management and stock control.
* Adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Support the Department Team Leader / Supervisor by checking and updating information on incoming / outgoing goods from storage and production.
* Contribute towards continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
1. FLT drivers experience
2. Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
3. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Good communication skills.
