Overview
Working closely with the Plant Quality team and reporting to Production Managers, the role blends proactive quality leadership with reactive issue resolution, playing a key role in shaping quality performance as our electrification capability expands.
Responsibilities
* Drive compliance with automotive quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001) and the effective application of QMS across assembly lines
* Lead resolution of escalated assembly quality issues, driving root cause analysis and robust corrective actions
* Champion proactive risk management, identifying and mitigating quality risks within operations
* Coach and mentor teams to strengthen problem solving capability and embed a culture of continuous improvement
* Lead quality audits, improvement projects and performance reporting to deliver measurable gains
* Significant experience in a quality role within a manufacturing environment
* Strong problem solving expertise using 8D, DMAIC, FTA and PDCA methodologies
* In depth knowledge of Quality Management Systems aligned to IATF 16949
* High capability in data analysis, reporting and performance management
* Confident leader with the ability to influence, challenge and engage at all levels
