Role – Senior mechanical maintenance engineer Location – Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk Working hours – Monday to Friday 8.00am – 5.00 pm Capacity of role – Permanent position Salary – Paying up to £50,000 per annum Our client is recruiting for a time served and well established engineer to join their busy maintenance team. Applicants will be used to working within a manufacturing environment. Main duties will include – To assist the departments maintaining machines and equipment. To diagnose faults with machines and equipment. To strip down machines and equipment when necessary to replace mechanical wear or even broken parts. To complete and update tasks using a maintenance based software To support and assist with service engineer visits. Maintain facilities of all sites. To liase with all off site contractors and be point of contact. To investigate and where possible offer suggestions for improvements and/or cost Reductions To assist other areas of the business in a Maintenance role as and when required. Candidate attributes - Experience in using a range of general workshop machinery and equipment.
