Animal Feed Sales Specialist – Cumbria Salary: Up to £80,000 (including performance-related incentives) Location: Cumbria This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated Animal Feed Sales Specialist to join a progressive and expanding business supporting livestock producers across the North of England. The successful individual will play a key role in developing and maintaining strong relationships with dairy and beef farmers, providing nutritional solutions that deliver measurable performance and productivity gains on farm. The Role Manage and grow the existing customer ledger, ensuring consistent communication, service, and account development. Develop and manage sales within an established territory across Cumbria. Provide tailored nutritional advice and feed solutions to existing and prospective customers. Work closely with producers to understand herd and ration requirements, ensuring feed programmes are both technically sound and commercially viable. Maintain regular on-farm contact to strengthen long-term customer relationships. Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective territory planning and customer management. Liaise with technical and production teams to ensure product quality and service delivery standards are consistently met. The Candidate Proven track record in animal feed sales, or a strong background in livestock nutrition or on-farm advisory work. Experience managing an existing customer ledger with demonstrable success in growing sales. Sound understanding of ruminant nutrition and the UK feed industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a confident and proactive approach. Commercially astute with the ability to develop trusted customer relationships. Self-motivated, well-organised, and capable of working both independently and as part of a wider team. Full UK driving licence required.
