📅 Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
💰 Pay Rate: £110 per day
🌟 Contract: Starting January 2026, Ongoing - Long Term position
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs? We are looking for a dedicated and proactive SEN Learning Support Assistant to join one of our fantastic partner schools in Sefton, Merseyside.
🌱 About the Role
You'll be supporting pupils across both Primary and Secondary settings, working with students who have SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs), learning difficulties, and autism. The role requires someone who can build strong relationships, stay calm under pressure, and adapt to different learning environments.

* Confident, strong, and able to use their own initiative
* Passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs
* Positive, patient, and resilient in challenging situations
* Interested in education, psychology, or child development
* Sports coaches, psychology graduates, or those with relevant experience are encouraged to apply!
💬 Requirements:
* Previous experience working as a SEN TA or supporting children with special educational needs.
* A calm, nurturing, and proactive approach to supporting children's learning and development
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
* Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 TA, SEN, or equivalent) - desirable but not essential
