Freelance Site Manager - Industrial / fitout experience Location: Kettering ️ Start Date: July 2025 Initial Duration: Into 2026 Rate: Competitive Day Rate (DOE) We’re working with a leading main contractor who is looking for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to join a major £25 million industrial unit project based in Kettering. ️ Key Responsibilities: * Oversee site operations, managing trades and subcontractors * Ensure works are delivered on programme, on budget, and to a high quality standard * Maintain exceptional health & safety standards across site * Carry out inductions, toolbox talks, and ensure compliance with RAMS * Liaise with Project Managers, Consultants, and Clients as needed * Support project progress reporting and site documentation ✅ Requirements: * Proven experience managing industrial or large commercial projects and have managed civils elements as well as internals * SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications (essential) * Ability to drive site productivity while maintaining safety and quality * Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable, driven Site Manager to join a high-profile project and secure a long-term freelance position with a reputable contractor.
