About the Role
GSL Education is currently working in partnership with a well-resourced school in Bromley that requires a Teaching Assistant. This role is ideal for those looking to gain experience before applying for teacher training. You will work alongside experienced educators, gain valuable classroom experience, and make a positive impact on students' lives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Classroom Support: Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons, support students individually, and facilitate group activities.
2. Individualized Learning: Support students needing additional help by adapting materials and providing targeted interventions.
3. Behaviour Management: Help maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment and implement behaviour strategies.
4. Assessments and Monitoring: Assist in assessing student progress, providing feedback, and recording data.
5. Extra-Curricular Activities: Support clubs, sports, and trips to foster engagement and development.
Candidate Requirements
* A degree in any subject, ideally 2:2 or higher.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Enthusiastic, proactive, and passionate about education.
* Flexible and adaptable across subjects and teaching styles.
* Ability to work independently and in a team.
* Enhanced DBS registered to the update service.
