Licensing Support Officer – South East Employers
Full‑time, permanent position
Location: Maidenhead, Berkshire
Salary: £24,000 – £28,000 per annum

The Role
* Processing applications for hackney carriage and private hire drivers, vehicles and operators, involving face‑to‑face appointments with the applicants.
* Working with licensing officers to determine whether applicants are “fit and proper” to hold a licence.
* Taking payments and dealing with all required paperwork and online administration.
What We Are Looking For
* Experience in administration work, including finance and payments
* Experience of dealing directly, face‑to‑face, with customers and members of the public
* Experience of working in a large organisation such as a local authority
* IT literacy with wide experience of common applications
* Previous experience in working in licensing would be desirable
