Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to identify, qualify, and cultivate relationships with potential investors. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of sales and business development strategies, excellent communication skills, and the drive to deliver exceptional results. You will be instrumental in building a pipeline of leads and scheduling meetings for our fund manager while maintaining strong relationships with prospects throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation and Prospecting:
* Identify and research high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) through various channels, including LinkedIn, industry directories, and networking events.
* Proactively generate leads via cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach.
* Leverage instant messaging platforms (e.g., WhatsApp, Telegram, etc.) to establish initial contact and foster connections.
* Consistently meet or exceed monthly lead generation and meeting setup quotas.
Sales and Relationship Building:
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospects by understanding their investment interests and aligning them with Oaktech’s opportunities.
* Communicate the value of Oaktech Systems' services effectively to HNWIs.
* Consistently follow up with leads, ensuring they progress through the sales funnel.
Pipeline and Deal Management:
* Manage and track leads, pipelines, and deals in GoHighLevel CRM.
* Regularly update the CRM with detailed notes, progress updates, and next steps for each lead.
* Monitor key performance metrics, such as conversion rates and meeting setups, and report progress to the team.
Collaboration and Strategy:
* Work closely with the fund manager to schedule and prepare for investor meetings.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaigns and materials that attract HNWIs.
* Continuously refine lead generation strategies based on feedback and performance data.
Continuous Learning and Improvement:
* Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and investor behaviors.
* Take initiative in learning new tools, techniques, and strategies to improve sales performance.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience and Knowledge:
* Proven experience in sales, business development, or a similar role, preferably working with HNWIs.
* Proven track record of achieving or exceeding monthly sales quotas and performance targets.
* Strong understanding of sales strategies, relationship management, and lead generation techniques.
* Familiarity with investment products, private equity, or similar fields is a plus.
Skills:
* Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to craft compelling emails and presentations.
* Sales Savvy: Adept at cold calling, objection handling, and building rapport quickly.
* Tech Proficiency: Hands-on experience with CRM platforms (preferably GoHighLevel) and sales automation tools.
* Social Media Fluency: Skilled in leveraging LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms for outreach and relationship building.
* Experience in the finance, wealth management, or related industries
