Maintenance Engineer - Site Services at Nestlé Purina. Location: Sudbury. Salary up to £45,000 depending on experience, with potential bonus, generous pension scheme, 25-day holiday entitlement plus 2 paid volunteering days, and other benefits.
We are an electrically biased Site Services Engineer, part of a team reporting to the Factory Engineering Manager. The role supports the operation by ensuring electrical compliance and completing electrical activities in line with business objectives for product safety, quality and plant operation/performance, aiming for optimum safety and reliability.

What You Will Do
A day in the life of a Site Services Engineer involves ensuring optimal cost-effective, high-quality, and sustained generation and distribution of utilities for factory operation (e.g., steam, refrigeration, water and effluent treatment, hygienic air handling, compressed air, etc.).
* Support the move from reactive to preventative maintenance by identifying recurring issues, performing root cause analysis, and creating maintenance improvement plans.
* Coach and develop the Technician group within the Industrial Services Team.
* Support and challenge colleagues to maintain all company standards.
* Ensure full support to the department for compliance audits.
* Manage small projects and help develop future capex plans.

* Minimum apprentice-trained or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, ideally dual skilled.
* Ability to manage and prioritise workload in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
* In-depth understanding of problem-solving methodology.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and coach across all levels.
* Ability to work on own initiative.
