*Our client is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior General Litigation Solicitor to join their established and growing team based in Colchester. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident litigator to take on a varied and high-quality caseload, with strong prospects for progression and leadership within the firm.
The successful candidate will have substantial experience in probate disputes, landlord and tenant matters, and general civil litigation, and will be comfortable managing cases independently from instruction through to resolution, including trial where necessary.
Managing a varied caseload of contentious probate matters, including Inheritance Act claims and disputes over validity of wills
* Handling landlord and tenant disputes (both residential and commercial), including possession proceedings, rent arrears, disrepair claims, and lease disputes
* Conducting a broad range of civil litigation matters
* Advocating at hearings where appropriate
* Assisting in the strategic growth of the litigation department
Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
* Significant post-qualification experience in xsngvjr general litigation
* Strong technical knowledge of civil procedure and litigation strategy
* Confident advocate with excellent drafting skills
* Competitive salary up to £75,000 for the right candidate (negotiable & dependent on experience)
