SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary Schools - Bury - Immediate Start
Aspire People are currently recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs in primary schools across the Bury area.
This role offers a mixture of day-to-day supply and longer-term opportunities, available for an immediate start.
We are seeking a caring, patient and flexible individual who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and making a positive difference in the classroom.
SEN Teaching Assistant - Key responsibilities:
* Supporting pupils with SEN such as ASD, ADHD and learning difficulties
* Providing 1:1 and small group support
* Supporting the class teacher with differentiated activities
* Assisting pupils with social, emotional and behavioural needs
* Promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment
SEN Teaching Assistant - Requirements:
* Previous SEN experience or experience working with children (preferred)
* A calm and supportive approach
* Good communication skills
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
