Overview
Here at Stonewater, we are seeking an Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Caseworker to take ownership of casework from start to finish, ensuring our ASB Customer Commitments are understood and delivered. This is a new role within our Customer Experience (CX) directorate. The role is predominantly remote, with location being less important; however, we are keen to recruit to support operational delivery in the following areas:
* Covering Devon/North Dorset/South Somerset
* Covering Mendip/Sedgemoor/Bristol/South Gloucestershire/BANES (Bath & North East Somerset)
Responsibilities
* Provide customers with an efficient journey that delivers resolution and next steps, demonstrating influencing and negotiation skills
* Prepare and present cases at court to an excellent standard
* Be responsive to changing customer needs and communicate with compassion, including conversations with customers experiencing hate crime, domestic abuse, trauma, complex financial issues, and other complex situations
* Collaborate with partners in the Police, Local Authority, Mental Health Services, and external mediation and legal services
* Where proportionate, prepare and present legal cases in court and coordinate with external legal services partners to achieve the right outcomes
* Receive comprehensive training and travel to court hearings as required, as well as carry out other visits to customers and communities
* Participate in duty processes as part of a national team to triage cases effectively
* Use data and behavioural insights to propose service innovations and develop expertise in ASB and related specialist areas; promote customer confidence in digital channels and adopt new digital tools
Ideal Candidate / Qualifications
* Experience of managing anti-social behaviour cases
* Experience of developing and working in partnership with external stakeholders
* Understanding of the law and relevant legislation around housing, ASB, and safeguarding
* Experience with Harm-based triage for ASB
* Experience safeguarding and managing cases involving people with complex needs
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to positively influence and negotiate
* Ability to adopt new digital solutions and deliver change
* Experience of partnership work to meet customer needs and manage complex multi-agency relationships
* Experience preparing complex case files for court and presenting in civil or criminal courts
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to find innovative solutions for customers
* Ability to prioritise and manage a complex caseload
* Experience of using mediation or conflict resolution services

* Possession of a valid Right to Work document
