Consultant in Stroke Medicine (5 PAs Available)
Applications are invited for a Consultant in Stroke Medicine at NHS Tayside via Ninewells Hospital and Medical School in Dundee. The successful applicant will be based within the Stroke team at Ninewells Hospital.
Responsibilities
* Join the dynamic and innovative team developing and delivering the Hyper Acute Stroke Unit and future 24/7 Thrombectomy Service.
* Provide clinical care within the Stroke Service, including participation in the evening on‑call rota.
* Contribute to the Acute Medical Unit rota.
* Take part in postgraduate training and education.
* Engage in research and quality improvement initiatives.
* Participate in redesigning adult models of care with emphasis on rehabilitation pathways across the health and care system.
Qualifications
* MRCP and be on the GMC Specialist Register in Stroke Medicine and General Medicine, or within 6 months of the anticipated award of CCT, or already in possession of CESR (CP) at interview.
* Less than full time applications will be considered.
Working Hours (PA Availability)
* 5 Part‑Time Positions of 20 hours per week.
