We’re Hiring: Business Development Manager
Billericay, Essex
Part-Time (3 Days Per Week)
£30,000 – £45,000 Pro Rata (DOE)
An established, high-end private medical facility is entering an exciting new phase of growth, and we’re looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager to help unlock its full potential.
Following significant investment in facilities and infrastructure, the focus is now on optimising clinical utilisation, strengthening consultant relationships, and expanding high-value service lines across surgical, dental, and medical aesthetics.
To be considered for this role we can only accept candidates who have experience working or have worked Private Medical Experience - Dentistry, Aesthetics etc
The Opportunity
You will work directly with the Owner, senior clinicians, and operational leaders to drive sustainable revenue growth and turn commercial opportunities into measurable results.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
Commercial Growth
* Identify and develop new revenue streams
* Optimise utilisation of theatres and clinical space
* Support pricing strategy and service positioning
* Analyse performance data to drive improvement
Clinician & Partner Engagement
* Build strong relationships with colleagues, consultants and dentists
* Support onboarding and retention of high-performing clinicians
* Develop commercially viable service offerings
* Act as a credible commercial counterpart to senior medical professionals
Business Development Projects
* Lead projects from concept to implementation
* Prepare business cases and investment proposals
* Support launch of new services and partnerships
* Align marketing and operational delivery with capacity
Strategy & Planning
* Translate vision into clear commercial plans
* Support medium- and long-term growth strategy
* Track KPIs and report on progress and outcomes
What We’re Looking For
Proven business development experience within private healthcare, medical, dental, or surgical settings
Strong commercial acumen and revenue growth track record
Confidence working with senior clinicians
Ability to operate autonomously and take ownership
Comfortable combining strategy with hands-on delivery
Desirable:
* Experience in private hospitals or specialist clinics
* Understanding of clinician-led business models
* Experience launching or scaling medical services
