Job Description

3. Typing and formatting conveyancing documents (e.g., contracts, transfer deeds, completion statements)
4. Managing client files (physical and digital)
5. Scheduling appointments and updating calendars
6. Answering phones, handling emails, and responding to client inquiries
7. Preparing initial client care letters and forms
8. Drafting and sending standard letters to clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and solicitors
9. Requesting and reviewing property searches
10. Ensuring compliance with conveyancing regulations and firm procedures
11. Keeping accurate records for audits and professional indemnity insurance purposes

The Successful Applicant

A successful Conveyancing Legal Secretary should have:

12. Proven experience in residential and/or commercial conveyancing.
13. Strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
14. Knowledge of relevant legal documentation and processes.
15. Excellent communication and client-handling skills.
16. Proficiency in IT systems, including case management software.
