A friendly and forward-thinking primary school in Wokingham is looking for a committed and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a child with SEND on a full-time basis.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with pupils and wants to make a real difference in their educational journey.
Role Highlights:
* Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a child with SEND
* Adapt learning activities to suit individual needs
* Work collaboratively with class teachers and the SENCO
* Monitor and report on the child’s progress and wellbeing
* Create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment
✅ Ideal Candidate:
* Previous experience working with children, ideally in a school or SEND setting
* A patient, calm and nurturing approach
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to follow tailored support plans and contribute to EHCP targets
* A genuine passion for helping children achieve their potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
