A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Product Assurance Engineering professional to join the Product Assurance Equipment Engineering team supporting a variety of Mechanical & Electro-Mechanical Equipment while driving process improvement.
Salary: Circa £45,000 depending on experience
Hybrid working: 2 days per week on-site due to workload classification.
Security Clearance: British Citizen or Dual UK national with British citizenship. All successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The role:
Join our Product Assurance Equipment Engineering team supporting Mechanical & Electro-Mechanical Equipment, leading process improvements and ensuring core PA activities are met. Collaborate with Major project Product Assurance Managers to support equipment development, minimize product non-conformance, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
* Lead and influence ME process governance, ensuring ownership and adherence
* Support process improvement and lessons learned activities within ME
* Ensure compliance in equipment projects per BMS procedures
* Manage product lifecycle reviews and actions
* Handle product non-conformance, support defect investigations, and provide analysis reports
* Identify and mitigate quality risks for in-house equipment
* Conduct process adherence audits and micro training sessions
Requirements:
* HNC/HND in Engineering or equivalent desirable
* Experience in quality assurance within Mechanical or Electronic Engineering
* Knowledge of QA problem-solving methods (8D, RCA, DMAIC)
* Understanding of product lifecycle, especially development
* Strong analytical skills, experience with Excel, SAP QM, and document management tools
* Continuous improvement mindset and initiative
