Inbound Talent is partnered with a forward-thinking Connectivity / Managed Services firm with offices in Livingston, Scotland. They are growing rapidly and are looking to bolster their existing account management team with an experienced and skilled account manager to look after some of their enterprise customers.
The Role:
You’ll be responsible for:
* Managing and growing a portfolio of existing connectivity customers
* Mapping accounts to uncover whitespace, new stakeholders, and untapped budget
* Building and nurturing senior relationships (IT, Procurement, Finance, and Business Leaders)
* Driving upsell and cross-sell across our managed services, cloud, security, and project offerings
* Working closely with technical teams to shape solutions that solve real customer problems
* Forecasting accurately and maintaining a healthy, predictable pipeline
* Owning the full sales cycle within existing accounts – from opportunity identification through to close
What we’re looking for
Must-haves:
* Proven experience as an Account Manager in IT, MSP, or technology services
* Strong track record of growing existing accounts, not just maintaining them
* Demonstrable experience in whitespace mapping; identifying where they're not currently selling and building a plan to win that business
* Confident in dealing with enterprise and/or public sector customers
* Commercially sharp – comfortable with pricing, margin, and contract discussions
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Nice to have:
* Experience with frameworks/tenders
* Understanding of managed services, connectivity, and networking
* Experience working with technical pre-sales or solution architects
Package & benefits
* Base salary up to £60,000 (depending on experience)
* OTE £80,000+ (and that’s a conservative estimate)
* Uncapped commission structure
