Key Responsibilities
* General housekeeping across the entire property (approx. 4,200 sqft)
o Vacuuming and mopping floors
o Dusting and managing cobwebs
o Deep cleaning bathrooms and kitchen, including fridge and oven as needed
o Washing windows where accessible
* Laundry duties, including washing bed linen and changing sheets
* Light meal preparation or dinner prep once per week
* Occasional errand running (e.g. post office drop-off, picking up bread)
* Liaising with the gardening and property team when needed
* Maintaining a tidy, welcoming environment across all areas of the home
Requirements
* Proven experience in a similar private household role
* Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, can-do attitude
* Ability to work independently and take initiative
* Positive, grounded, and honest demeanour
* Confident managing occasional feedback and communicating personal boundaries with respect
* Fluent in English; French is a bonus
* A driver is preferred, but not essential
* Comfortable working around a family with school-aged children and pets (small dog and cat)
* Right to work in the UK
