The Role As a Housing Officer Level 2, you will play a key role in delivering an effective, resident-focused housing management service. You’ll take ownership of housing management activity across schemes, ensuring homes and estates are safe, well-maintained, and that residents feel listened to, supported, and informed. Key Responsibilities Delivering core housing management services including viewings, lettings, void management, and tenancy sustainment Managing rent arrears and debt collection, supporting income recovery Acting as a visible and proactive presence within communities, responding to resident queries and concerns Undertaking estate inspections to ensure high standards, health & safety compliance, and excellent resident experience Coordinating with internal teams and external contractors to resolve repairs, ASB, safeguarding, and compliance issues Managing complaints and disputes with empathy, ensuring outcomes are clearly communicated and documented Supporting performance improvement initiatives and meeting KPIs Carrying out home and estate visits as required Representing the resident voice and taking accountability for issues through to resolution What We’re Looking For You’ll be a confident and resilient Housing Officer with a strong customer-focused mindset and the ability to manage a varied, fast-paced workload.
