What You Will Be Doing As a Branch Manager
The Branch Manager will lead a team of customer‑facing colleagues, promoting high standards of customer service and ensuring an exceptional experience for all customers.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading and inspiring the team, creating a culture of high performance.
* Taking ownership of the branch contribution plan, focusing on commercial growth and customer retention.
* Ensuring the team confidently promotes products and services during conversations, using observations, one‑to‑ones and clear objectives linked to the branch plan.
* Developing and delivering development opportunities for team members.
* Leading from the front, engaging with customers daily, including serving customers and conducting ‘My Review’ appointments.
What Do We Need From You?
The successful candidate will have:
* Experience in a management role in a customer‑facing environment.
* A proven record of delivering great customer service and outcomes.
* Effective communication and time‑management skills.
* A passion and genuine interest in people, acknowledging diversity of customers and colleagues.
* An entrepreneurial approach to maximising business opportunities.
* Stakeholder management skills, working with a Regional Manager and Head Office functions.
Experience in financial services is a plus, but not mandatory.
