Job Introduction
An opportunity has arisen within our Durham branch for a Corporate Banking Manager.
The post holder will be responsible for maintaining and developing a corporate customer portfolio, winning and onboarding new customers through proactive business development activities, and managing all aspects of client relationships including credit applications, financial analysis, reviews, and compliance.
Main Responsibilities
1. Maintain and develop a portfolio of corporate customers, ensuring high customer satisfaction through excellent service.
2. Identify and acquire prospective new customers and introducers by showcasing our services and facilities.
3. Understand and work within the Bank's Credit Policy, evaluate financial information, assess risk, structure transactions, and complete credit applications.
4. Develop knowledge of the local business market and maintain relationships with professional firms and business introducers.
5. Prepare and check customer documentation, maintain customer files, and ensure compliance with data input and process standards.
6. Collaborate with the branch team to deliver excellent customer service and achieve branch goals.
7. Understand and communicate the Bank’s products and market trends effectively to customers.
8. Promote the Bank’s culture and relationship banking approach to the market.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint
* Strong administrative and organizational skills
