Branch Supervisor - Hessle (HU13 9PB) - Plumb Centre

As a Branch Supervisor based in Hessle, Hull, you’ll be responsible for:
1. Assisting the Branch Manager with the day to day running and operations within this small branch.
2. Supervising and supporting branch staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
3. Serving customers on the trade counter, offering advice and product knowledge.
4. Building rapport with customers & suppliers, responding to any queries and processing sales.
5. General warehouse duties including, goods in & out, picking and packing customer orders.
This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday - and Saturday on a rota basis -
And here’s what we’d like you to have to be a successful Branch Supervisor...
6. Previous industry or merchant experience is preferable
7. Prior experience as a supervisor in a Face to Face customer service/sales environment
8. Excellent communication skills and confidence interacting with customers
9. To be a team player who is happy to take on a diverse role to carry out all jobs in the branch to ensure it runs smoothly
10. Keenness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethic
11. To be comfortable lifting heavy items
