Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.
A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is sought for a full academic year contract position in a K-12 school setting located in Warren, Michigan. This role involves providing comprehensive speech and language assessments and intervention services to students across all grade levels.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support student communication goals
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate speech therapy into the educational setting
* Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies and IDEA regulations
* Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning processes
Qualifications and Experience:
* Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
* State licensure or eligibility to practice in Michigan
* Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a K-12 educational environment
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and staff
* Ability to manage caseloads independently and maintain confidential records accurately
