Carpentry Technician
Location: Birmingham
Contract: Full-Time, Temporary
Hours: 37 per week

Morgan Hunt is delighted to be working with a prestigious Further Education college to recruit an experienced Carpentry Technician on a temporary basis.
Role Responsibilities
The Carpentry Technician will:
* Support the delivery of high-quality Carpentry and Joinery programmes.
* Prepare, set up, and maintain workshop tools, equipment, and resources.
* Assist lecturers in delivering practical demonstrations and assessments.
* Monitor student activity in workshops, ensuring safe and effective working practices.
* Maintain compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding standards at all times.
Desirable Criteria
* A minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Carpentry & Joinery (Level 3 preferred).
* Strong industry experience within Carpentry and Construction.
* Experience supporting teaching, training, or mentoring in a workshop environment.
* Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
