Role Overview
This is an onsite role based in London, with working hours of 36.7 hours over an 8-week period. Building services engineers are responsible for the cost-effective, environmentally sound, and sustainable design and maintenance of engineering services in our buildings. Responsibilities include managing equipment and materials related to heating, lighting, ventilation, air-conditioning, electrical distribution, water supply, sanitation, fire protection, safety systems, lifts, escalators, facade engineering, and acoustics.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct risk assessments, prioritizing client interests and market integrity.
* Undertake all aspects of building services maintenance, working on modern plant, equipment, and systems controlled by Siemens BMS.
* Perform reactive and planned maintenance for all building services.
* Participate in an out-of-hours call-out procedure.
* Interact with building users at all levels and third-party service providers.
Qualifications and Skills
* Must be a multi-skilled engineer with mechanical qualifications.
* Be part of an established in-house team, working a staggered day rota, including weekends.
