Key Responsibilities of the Senior Commercial Property Solicitor:
* Managing a diverse portfolio of commercial property transactions including acquisitions, disposals, leasing arrangements, and development projects.
* Advising clients on a broad range of commercial property issues, delivering pragmatic, commercially driven legal solutions.
* Leading negotiations and preparing complex contracts, leases, and associated documentation.
* Offering strategic legal advice on investment and property portfolio management to support long-term client goals.
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a key contact point for commercial property matters.
* Supporting the development of junior team members through mentoring and supervision.
* Keeping abreast of legal developments and market changes to ensure clients receive current and strategic guidance.
* Contributing to the wider growth of the firm through business development and networking activities.
About You:
* Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with a minimum of 8 years’ post-qualification experience in commercial property law.
* Proven track record handling high-value, complex transactions.
* Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to cultivate client trust and loyalty.
* Previous experience leading or mentoring teams is desirable.
* Commercially astute, proactive, and strategically minded.
* Organised and adaptable, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
* Committed to ongoing professional development and staying up to date with changes in the legal landscape.
