Monday to Friday, Part Time – 20 Hours Per Week.

Responsibilities
* Provide day‑to‑day general building repairs to enhance the care home fabric.
* Carry out basic maintenance tasks, including minor decoration, to ensure a safe and homely environment.
* Ensure health, safety and wellbeing of residents, their relatives and staff during all work.
* Examples of tasks:
* Painting and decorating
* Minor repairs
* Changing light bulbs
* Hanging pictures
* Repairing or replacing door furniture
* Putting up shelves and TV brackets
* Replacing stained or damaged ceiling tiles
* Conducting routine inspections and reporting issues to the Housekeeper Manager.
* Cleaning outdoor areas such as footpaths, waste or parking areas, including snow and ice control.
* Assisting in moving furniture such as tables, hospital beds, etc.
* Other duties as required by the Home Manager or Housekeeper Manager.
