Lettings Manager - Independent Estate Agency (Islington) Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-6pm, Saturday 10am-4pm (with one day off in lieu) Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 (DOE) Pension A highly regarded independent estate agency in Islington is seeking an ambitious and driven Lettings Manager to lead their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced lettings professional with strong leadership skills and a proven track record in the property sector. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the lettings department, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Manage and motivate the lettings team to achieve and exceed targets. Drive new business opportunities and maximise instructions. Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords and tenants. Ensure compliance with lettings legislation and company policies. Conduct valuations, market appraisals, and oversee property marketing. Monitor tenancy progression from start to finish, including renewals. Report regularly to senior management on performance and KPIs. Skills & Experience: Minimum 3-4 years' lettings experience, with at least 1 year in a senior or managerial role. Proven record of hitting and exceeding lettings targets. Excellent leadership, coaching, and people management skills. Strong local market knowledge (Islington/central London experience desirable). Highly organised, confident, and commercially focused. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills. Good IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
