What you will do:
* Provide high-quality occupational therapy assessments, treatments, and recommendations across surgical and orthopaedics specialties.
* Work within a multidisciplinary team to support patient flow and ensure safe discharge during high-demand winter months.
* Engage with patients across a diverse range of needs, facilitating effective rehabilitation plans spanning surgical, medical, and older people’s services.
* Contribute to team meetings and case management discussions, enhancing patient outcomes and strategic planning.
* Optimise patient independence and wellbeing, empowering them to achieve their personal recovery goals.
Requirements:
* HCPC Registered Occupational Therapist
* Degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy
* NHS or hospital experience as an Occupational Therapist
* Relevant clinical experience within acute occupational therapy
* Ability to work flexibly, including weekends, according to the post’s demands
